WSTI Festi 2026: Build with AI Innovation Challenge x Google, Sat 7 Nov

Build an AI solution from scratch at this Parramatta Build Day for the WSTI Festi 2026 Innovation Challenge. Choose a City Challenge set by City of Parramatta and WSTI, or bring a problem from your business, industry or community for the Open Innovation track. No coding background is needed.

• Google Antigravity and beginner vibe coding with Brett Morgan, Google
• Form or join a team through the WSTI Festi hackathon portal
• Two build sessions with mentoring from Brett Morgan and the WSTI team
• Advanced Antigravity session on creating agent skills
• Demo and feedback
• Lunch for in-person participants

Challenge rules and submissions

Choose one of two tracks:

• City Challenge: real-world challenges set by City of Parramatta and WSTI
• Open Innovation: a challenge you bring from your business, industry or community

Entries must be built from scratch during the challenge, from 5 to 17 November. Existing projects or products cannot be submitted. Submissions close Tue 17 Nov at 11:59 PM and must include a 90-second video pitch, landing page and working prototype.

The same tracks are available at the second in-person Build Day or online. Online participation is for people who live, work or study in the City of Parramatta LGA.

What to bring and good to know

• A laptop is essential, along with a Google account.
• Bring an idea for Open Innovation, or choose a City Challenge on the day.
• Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
• Photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering, you consent to being photographed, filmed and/or recorded, and to WSTI using that media for promotional purposes through release, publication, exhibition or reproduction. Tell a WSTI team member on arrival if you prefer not to be photographed or recorded.
