Startup Pitch & Networking in Sydney

Join Startup Valley in Sydney for an evening of startup pitches and structured networking. The programme brings together founders, investors, operators and others working across the startup ecosystem, with networking sessions held before and after the pitches.

What to expect

• Live startup pitches with feedback from angels and VC partners
• Structured networking before and after the pitch session
• Conversations with founders, investors, venture scouts, marketers, salespeople, business advisers and AI experts
• A pitch session followed by a short audience Q&A

Pitch applications

A limited number of founders are selected in advance to pitch to investors and experts. Selected founders have five minutes to present their idea, business model, target market and investment ask, followed by questions and feedback.

• A Pitch Ticket and approved application are required to pitch
• A pitch deck is required
• Apply via the Pitch Application Form and send a pitch deck
• Pitch spots are limited

For investors

Institutional investors, angels and venture scouts with a proven track record may be eligible for complimentary tickets. Those seeking startup database access or wishing to offer mentorship can complete the Investor Application Form.

Practical details

• Tickets are listed at USD 10; some ticket types require approval
• Smart casual dress code
• Refund requests must be made at least 7 days before the event start time, through the purchase platform or by contacting the organiser
