About This Event
AI adoption can stall when the focus starts with the tool rather than the work it is meant to support. This Canberra session explores a process-first approach to assessing where AI may fit and what needs to be in place before implementation.
What you’ll work through
Using Amel Katrib’s five-driver AI readiness framework, participants will examine a real process or problem from their own work, including:
- why the work matters and the problem to solve
- how the process currently operates
- what improvement would look like
- what may need to change before introducing AI
The session is designed to help participants begin with a stable, understood process, then decide where technology can be useful.
Facilitator
Amel Katrib developed the framework used in this session. Her background includes digital transformation, training and change management, alongside work helping small-to-medium businesses simplify their operations. She is certified in Lean Six Sigma, Prosci change management, AI strategy, and no-code AI and machine learning.
Participation and recording
AI CoLab events are open and collaborative. Photos, audio and AI-generated transcripts may be captured and shared with the AI CoLab Alliance community in line with its stated charter values. By participating, you agree to this capture and sharing policy.
