About This Event
Pitch & Pizza is a monthly Gold Coast pitch night for people building, testing and supporting startup ideas. Join a relaxed evening of short pitches, candid feedback, pizza and conversation at the GC Hub space at Southern Cross University.
Who it’s for
- Founders and researchers refining a pitch
- Final-year students testing a startup idea
- Investors and mentors interested in early-stage ideas
- Ecosystem supporters who want to connect with the local startup community
On the night
- Lightning Bites: a 30-second open-mic opportunity to share an idea, problem or ask.
- The Main Slice: up to three pre-selected founders or researchers pitch for up to 5 minutes and receive feedback from the room.
- Pizza and conversations: informal networking with founders, students, investors, mentors and ecosystem builders.
Pitch spots for The Main Slice are limited and require an application in advance: apply here.

Tickets and refunds
- Free for current GC Hub members
- $25 for non-members, or $18 for the first 10 bookings
- Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event
