About This Event

AI can be useful for small and growing businesses, but only when the task and the underlying process are ready. This practical Sydney morning session looks at where AI can take work off your plate, where a business issue needs fixing first, and how to handle client data carefully.

What you’ll work through

  • A one-page plan for what to delegate to AI, what to improve first and what should stay human
  • A simple way to assess whether a business task is ready for AI
  • Foundations for protecting client data when using AI tools
  • Your current AI use, if you are already experimenting and want to assess whether it is worthwhile

Who it’s for

Business owners, particularly those with around 5 to 50 staff, who are new to AI or already using it. The examples are aimed at businesses of that size, though owners of smaller or larger businesses are also welcome. Business partners and managers may attend, with a ticket required for each person.

No AI experience or laptop is needed. Bring a rough sense of the jobs that take up most of your week; worksheets and pens are provided.

On the day

Barista coffee is available from 9:30am before the 10:00am start. The session is held in the Banksia room at The Executive Centre, Level 15, Grosvenor Place, Sydney. Circular Quay, Wynyard and Martin Place stations are within walking distance, with light rail stops on Bridge Street opposite; paid parking is available in the building.

Places are limited to 16 and tickets are $20. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event; after that, a colleague may attend in your place if the hosts are notified. Attendees will receive a digital worksheet and the tools shown within two working days.
