About This Event
Meet startup founders recruiting for communications, PR, marketing and creative work at this Reverse Pitch Night in Kensington. Rather than students pitching to startups, founders will introduce what they are building and discuss internship opportunities.
Who it’s for
UNSW students interested in:
- PR and media relations
- Branding, communications and journalism
- Marketing and creative industries
Startup experience is not required. Students outside the Faculty of ADA can attend, especially those who are creative and curious about startups.
What to expect
Founders building in areas including AI, fintech, health and climate will deliver fast two-minute pitches. They will share:
- What they are building
- What interns would actually work on
- Why joining early matters
Stay afterwards for networking, conversations and internship opportunities. Internships are not guaranteed, though founders attending are actively recruiting.
Optional preparation
Bring your curiosity, plus an updated LinkedIn profile and/or digital portfolio if you have one.
