About This Event
Australian small and medium businesses in AI, robotics, advanced manufacturing, pharma and medtech are invited to this free, in-person MAITRI workshop in Mawson Lakes. The session focuses on developing a practical approach to exploring the Indian market.
What you’ll work through
- Frameworks for assessing opportunities in India
- Legal considerations and investment pathways
- A draft market-entry roadmap covering Explore, Evaluate, Enter, Establish and Expand
- Opportunity assessment, entry options, support needs, barriers and enablers
Your roadmap will inform the selection process for a fully funded India roadshow planned for early 2027. Supporting resources, recordings and templates will be available through the Deakin SME Centre LMS.
Who it’s for
Australian businesses working in AI, robotics, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medtech, health or related sectors.
Facilitator
Cathryn Nolan from Deakin University will facilitate the workshop. Her background spans commercial and company law, international trade, design thinking and business education.
