About This Event
AI is already appearing in legal practices, raising practical questions about efficiency, client confidentiality and risk. This Kurri Kurri session is for solicitors and practice managers who want a grounded view of where AI can help — and where caution is needed.
In this session
- Explore what AI does well in a legal practice today, and its limitations.
- Use a five-minute test to assess whether an AI tool is safe around client information.
- Consider common pitfalls for lawyers using AI.
- Identify where administrative time goes in a small firm and where to focus first.
Who it’s for
Solicitors and practice managers who are time-poor and risk-aware.
CPD information
The session is designed to meet the Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules 2015 requirements in Practice Management and Business Skills. Solicitors assess their own CPD eligibility under the Rules. One hour of attendance may be claimed as 1 CPD unit, with an attendance record and certificate provided on the night.
