About This Event
Learn practical ways to use generative AI in open-source research and investigative workflows, while assessing outputs for reliability, bias and unsupported claims. This live online workshop is designed for intelligence professionals, investigators, researchers and security practitioners.
What you’ll work on
Across two instructor-led half-days, you’ll use realistic scenarios to explore how to:
- Choose AI models and workflows for different research tasks
- Build prompts, context and custom instructions
- Use AI-assisted collection at scale within relevant platform terms, agency policy and legal limits
- Structure unstructured material into entities, relationships, themes, claims and information gaps
- Check outputs for hallucinations, bias and unsupported inference
The second session finishes with a capstone activity covering the workflow end to end.
Included with enrolment
- OSINT Combine’s self-paced AI Essentials online course, to complete before the workshop
- Two live sessions, with approximately 6.5 hours of instruction
- Guided exercises and labs
- A resource pack, prompt library and custom GPTs
- Guidance for offline AI use in constrained environments
- Certificate of completion
